Parghelia for its strategic position is integrated in the panoramic view that goes to the tip of Zambrone and makes a whole landscape with the heights of Drapia, Fitili, Daffinacello, Daffina ', and Zaccanopoli Zambrone.
The coastal strip of Parghelia extends for about 8 km. White sand beaches alternate with suggestive cliffs.
This is the case of the locality Vardano, whose cliffs are known with the name “i ringhi”. Also worth seeing is the marina of Michelino with the rock of Sant’Andrea and the "Palombaro" stack, also known as "La Pizzuta".
It is said that passing ships avoided approaching this rock to avoid being hit by the stones thrown by a slave from the top of the stack. The rock "d’a Madonna" is linked, however, to the legend of the arrival of the painting of the Madonna di Portosalvo in Parghelia. Before arriving at the border with the territory of Zambrone we still find two wonderful rocks, known by the inhabitants as “the taverns”, the Bordila marina and the Fornaci coast.
